Hastert Refuses to Go -- He Should Only Stay the Course through 7 November!

This could have been played as a single congress-person's problem (not the gay part of course but the serial hitting on pages).

But Hastert, whose leadership is that of being a rubber stamp for the nutjobs, is, with his deputies, is making it a national issue and, one hopes, problem.

The issue isn't Foley any more.

It's: What kind of morality allows one to ignore a problem like this for years and refuse to investigate it.

It's the moral corruption of the venal and greedy and rapacious.
